On the 11th of February, 2023, fate brought two souls together in the most unexpected of places—a lively bar. Among the crowd, he spotted her, a breathtaking presence that made the bustling room fade into the background. He couldn’t take his eyes off her, knowing in that moment he had to meet her.
When the bar closed, their paths crossed again outside. What began as playful banter turned into an unforgettable night. Along with a group of friends, they ended up at her house, laughing, talking, and sharing moments of pure joy. They swapped shirts in a whimsical exchange, sipped Moët straight from the bottle, and he even jokingly attempted to mow her lawn in the middle of the night. The connection between them grew stronger with every passing moment.
As the night stretched into early morning, he found her hiding in the hallway, a playful smile lighting up her face when she saw him. Gathering his courage, he asked her a simple yet life-changing question: “Can I kiss you?” She said yes. That kiss sealed their fate, a spark igniting that neither of them wanted to let go of.
Nearly two years later, their love has grown into something extraordinary. They’ve built a beautiful blended family and a life full of laughter and love. Now, as they prepare to marry on the anniversary of that magical night—February 11th, 2025—their story stands as a testament to the power of serendipity and the beauty of finding your person when you least expect it.

Located in Dixons Creek, Fergusson winery is a 15 minute drive from Healesville. There are a number of accomodation options in the area including hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts. However there is onsite accomodation available on the same property as the winery, De'vine Escape. You can book online below.
